Approaching our 5th or 6th time spent at Black Dog Lodge with family and friends, each time is amazing and endearing and we look forward to it each year. It offers a great amount of space in a picturesque setting that is calming and relaxing. Unplug, play board games, have bonfires and just enjoy each other’s company is just priceless.
It is also centrally located to visit great places such as Picture Rocks National Forest and Lakeshore for hiking and beaches; Tahquamenon Falls State Park; Whitefish Point Lighthouse museum; there is just so much to do near by.
Love this cabin. Our family has enjoyed coming to Black Dog Lodge for years. We will be returning once again in August. Thanks to the owners for sharing their family home so my family can come together and make memories.
Visiting Black dog lodge is the highlight of my year. Super cute & cozy feel. You can tell the owners put so much love into this place.
Sleeps a lot of people and comfortably at that.
Great memories staying here!!!
Black Dog Lodge is my favorite spot away from home! We have stayed here every year for the past four years (sometimes more than once) to get away from the chaos life brings to enjoy all the wonders of the beautiful UP. The cabin is located nicely to where you can day trip to all the best hiking spots, waterfalls, and so many more things hidden in the UP. Pictured Rocks is always a must! Grand Marais is one of my favorites and we always visit cute Stella for coffee! We also always travel to Marquette to see that cute town and jump off black rocks! This time we visited the “ghost town” of Fayette. Always finding so much to discover in the UP! Nature is calling! Bring your whole family because with 8 rooms, you can fit them all! I have never slept so good in my life! So great to be apart of that beautiful cabins history!! Can’t wait to go back! Thanks for everything!
Jacqueline is amazing! We had to change our reservations and she was helpful, understanding and made things happen!! She even offered assistance in finding alternative accommodations for our family vacation at a different location. I highly recommend working with her! She is an amazing host and business owner! Thanks again!!
