My son and I absolutely loved this trail!!!! It was exciting, challenging and so much fun! We got to jump, climb, and took the whole loop around from lot C1 which was about 5 miles.

Pleasantly varied. You can go north towards Bull Run or south towards Occocquan. I prefer the southern route. Either way, it’s a pleasant walk, with a few rocky spots, but nothing too arduous.

Great trail right along the river. Lots of fun creek crossings and a cute little waterfall along the way. We parked at parking lot C and took a bunch of stairs down to the path, turned left, and after that the trail was relatively flat. Parts of the trail were flooded so we had to find ways around it but the bluebells were absolutely worth it! Overall a great experience
