Beautiful, wide trail that is great for hiking or biking.

It’s a great beginner mountain biking trail. Most of it is still open but there are detours around some of the northern parts of it. It’s clearly marked and well maintained. It’s mostly shaded on the trail parts because of a thick hardwood canopy. It’s a beautiful and peaceful trail that is well worth the drive to ride it.

Nicely shaded. Not as suited for bicycles because of the very large roots that cross the trail and stick up as much as 6″. Spider webs were also a problem so we carried a stick. Very quiet other than a brief firing range noises.

Has the potential to be a great 9 mile trail. Doesn’t seem to be cleaned/cleared too often. The last 2 miles are in bad condition. Good trail just to walk, but not very bike friendly. We road our e-bikes, which have fat tires, but still too rough in spots to say it was an enjoyable ride. There are a lot of tree roots across this trail. Trail, if cleared/cleaned, is roomy enough for 2 people to comfortably walk side by side. Overall, okay trail.

Very shaded! Neat clean trail. Beautiful nature! The fact that there were benches every so often was a true blessing! Saw Beautiful fish in the creek and adorable turtles! Skinks and lizards galore. We saw one person. The roots on the trail were problematic sometimes. NO RESTROOMS.
