We sent our 7 month old mix (German shepherd & something else) to Ferry Good Dog Training board & train with Jordan. We just got him back yesterday and we’re so happy to see his progress! He’s more confident and is doing a great job transitioning to being home. We were worried that he’d lose some of the cuddliness and silly puppy but he is still his silly self, just much better at listening. We’ve already said that if we ever get another puppy we’ll be back to Ferry Good!
Ben is a miracle worker.
We adopted a mutt from a shelter, and while he was the most lovable dog, not everyone he meets needs to be “cuddled” by 70lbs running at them barking…..
Rocky is very smart, but had no self control and obviously needed more attention to training than me or my husband were able to give him.
We sent him for a 4 week course with Ben (ended up being 5 weeks, due to rainy weather, at no additional cost. Ben made sure he had adequate time to do the training contracted.)
When we picked Rocky up, he was a new dog in all the best ways!
It was unbelievable to see the transformation from incessant barking and lunging, to obedience and prompt recall!!
I went from being anxious to have guests over, to our dog laying down calmly when commanded, off leash, while UPS dropped off packages.
10/10, would highly recommend Ben for his skill and expertise, as well as his professionalism.
Our lab, Georgia, came home a totally different dog, but different in a good way. She was 8 1/2 months old & sweet as can be but she was wild. She jumped on everybody, knocked down the grandkids & nipped at them, she had to be restrained when someone came to the door, just to name a few bad habits. We were desperate for help. I did not have the knowledge or experience that Ben Ferry has & this was the best thing for her. He performed a miracle & we couldn’t be happier. She follows direction, she doesn’t jump, the grandkids are no longer afraid. Worth every penny!!!! I highly recommend Ferry Good Dog Training!!!!
We sent our puppy to Ferry Good Dog Training specifically to work on loose leash walking. We opted to send her to the 3-week program in order for her to learn all the necessary basic, and some advanced commands.
Ben exceeded our expectations! Not only are we over the top pleased with the results, we have a happier puppy because she knows her boundaries and limits.
Ben was in communication with us the entire time sending us videos of her progress.
Before our pup was released to us Ben spent a great deal of time teaching us how to implement her training into our everyday lives, working with us and our pup together.
I can’t recommend Ben and Ferry Good Dog Training enough. You and your dog will be happier for having gone through training with Ben.
I have a golden retriever (Leo) that was having problems with leash pulling and reactivity to other dogs. Amber came to my apartment for a free in-person consultation and was extremely helpful and she recommended one of their boarding programs to ensure Leo’s problems could be addressed and resolved. I was very nervous (as anyone would be) sending my pup away but Amber and Ben did a great job of sending videos/pictures/ and updates throughout the time Leo was away which really helped with that nervousness. When Leo returned, it was like I had a brand new dog. Leo did not have anymore pulling of his leash and was able to do off leash training with his E-collar which was extremely important to us as we love the outdoors and want our pup to enjoy it with us without being on a leash. I am MORE than pleased with my experience with Ferry Good Dog Training and would highly recommend. Thank you Ben and Amber for your time and the magic y’all worked on our sweet Leo.
