Can’t recommend this place enough! I was so worried to board my dog for two nights, yet he did amazing thanks to Patti and Jen, the wonderful owners of Parkwood Kennels. What’s also great about them is that each dog has its own, separate indoor and outdoor run. My dog remained happy and tail wagging his entire stay and was so well taken care of. Thank you so much!

I boarded my small dog here a few years back, and the prices were reasonable. He came back filthy but happy. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return for business since they have put up a large Trump banner across the fence on the main road. It’s certainly their right, but it communicates to me that supporting their business also means supporting contributions to things that deeply violate my personal values.

Our pups love Parkwood Kennels. We have taken our dogs twice already and are booking again soon. The individual kennels with indoor and outdoor space are great, especially if you have a dog who doesn’t play well with ours, like one of mine. Patti is so sweet and just loves our babies to pieces! The drop off and pick up hours are limited so you will have to flexible, but for our pups it’s worth it:)

Not my personal experience but a very upsetting recount of events from someone I am extremely close to. A beautiful big dog was treated poorly. The luxurious pup stay the baby was to receive was replaced with solitary confinement and minimal contact with other dogs as well as staff members. The poor thing lost a bunch of weight in a matter of days and isn’t the same as when they were dropped off. There’s no reason to treat a wingless angel this way. ESPECIALLY when the owner is the kind to bring the pup everywhere except where they can’t. They trust kennel workers to treat their children like their own at drop off. Please do better to have sensitivity training for the dogs you guys assume will be too hard to deal with.
