Excellent place to portage your kayak or canoe. We traveled 7milles in 4hrs. NOTE: You can drop at Eaton Rapids Outdoor Center and they will return you for a small fee.
Well maintained. Peaceful. Clean bathrooms. Great way to start a morning on the river.

Have designed amazing jumps always a bypass available
My children and I really enjoy coming here to walk the trails. Beautiful scenery!
Fantastic park for walking, walking your dog. Plenty of segments to take a walk of your chosen distance and still take in varied scenery from near the river up into the meadows. Really decent looking mountain bike trails, often separated from the walking path for everyone’s safety.
Kind of disappointing to arrive early three days in a row and find various pieces of trash around the parking lot despite there being plenty of trash cans available easily within 20 yards of any point in the parking lot … Clean up after yourselves and take care of your amazing park!
Definitely worth NULL day pass if you’re in the Lansing area with your dog and looking for somewhere to take him/her to expand some energy. Leash rules in effect but it’s totally worth it.
