Goldie Gibbons Dog Park

Goldie Gibbons Dog Park is a well-maintained, accessible dog park that requires a key card for entry and charges a fee for use. Despite its quaint size and careful upkeep, some visitors have noted limitations such as restricted public access, concerns about fencing integrity for large dogs, and its status as a private rather than a fully public park. The park is wheelchair accessible and allows dogs, but the fencing and public accessibility may impact your visit.
Reviews
Public parks should never cost money in order to be used. Just another Finley veiled ploy to try and squeeze a little extra money out of the residence of this county.
So not only was it locked and you have to pay for it….
BUT there is a huge gap in the large dog fence that my husky found in 2 seconds running around. She absolutely almost got out and would have ran right into the road.
Honestly, very disappointing
I actually could not go to this place because at 7:00 on a Saturday morning there is no way for me to register. I am dog sitting a dog from Frederick county who is fully vaccinated. I don’t understand why Berkeley county, if it is a public park is not open to the public. SMH. I’m sure it is s great park. But not for us.
Driving through all entry is key carded and other members made it clear I was unwelcome with my dog and couldn’t even recommend a trail I could walk my dog on
14MAY2025 Quaint little park, I’ve seen bigger. Nicely maintained, right down to the property identification sign at entry.
