Bath-Miller Park Dog Park in Marshall, Texas

Bath-Miller Park is a hidden gem for dog owners looking for a spacious and welcoming dog park in Marshall, Texas. This pet-friendly park features large, separate areas for both small and large dogs, as well as plenty of open space for dogs to run and play off-leash. The park is fenced for safety, allowing your pups to roam freely as you relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There’s also an adjacent area designed for children, making this a family-friendly spot to visit.

While parking is limited, the tranquil setting—tucked away off a quiet neighborhood road—makes it perfect for those seeking an uncrowded dog-friendly park. Bath-Miller Park offers shade from mature trees, a waste bin near the entrance, and a working water fountain (sometimes seasonal or affected by maintenance). Benches are limited, so you may want to bring your own chair. Please be mindful that the gates are not self-closing and fencing gaps near the ground may pose an escape risk for small or clever dogs.

This park is a hidden gem, tucked away off a small neighborhood road. There isn’t a ton of parking space (enough for maybe 8 vehicles or so), but my dog and I were the only visitors at the time so it wasn’t a problem. There are three sections, one for small dogs, one for big dogs and one for human children. I liked that there are no water features in this park. The space is quite large, providing plenty of room for dogs that like to run at full speed. There is a bin for dog waste at the entrance. The water fountain was working. There is only one bench to sit on as others have commented so possibly something that could be improved in the future. The trees inside the space were really nice. The fence looked to be maintained without any gaps. The park backs up to a railroad so if your dog scares from loud noises, something to take into consideration. Overall, an awesome park for dogs to run around and have fun.

Great park. Spacious and clean. You can even walk while your dog plays and you both exercise. Bring your own water

Just moved to town, after a quick ‘no pets’ at the city park; I found my way to the dog park. With the amount of space the park is actually nice…there was another dog here when ai arrived, named Piper. Hope there other dogs that will be here too..so my 2 girls Lexie and Betty have someone to play with..

I recently brought my small dog to the Bath-Miller dog park while visiting Marshall. It was adequate for letting her off the leash to run a bit but there were a few things that could use addressing. 1) the gates aren’t self closing 2) the fences are too high from the ground in some areas making it very easy for a smaller dog to go under 3) there is only one bench in the park and it was inaccessible due to all the recent rain 4) the water fountains didn’t work. This could be a very nice dog park with those improvements.
