This was our first time camping here and we will most definitely be back! The owners were so kind and helpful. The tunnel was beautiful and multiple trails to choose from. Our campsite was nestled in all cozy yet spacious enough for the kids to play some baseball. Thank you Castor River Ranch for a memorable trip!

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner is the most disrespectful and rude person I have ever met.

Such a cute and friendly area to stay, the landowners are so sweet and accommodating and drove us up to their hiking trails when we asked where they were. The old 1800’s tunnel is a cool site, and the hiking trails are well maintained. There is electric at each tent site and shade at some, the bathhouse was really clean and cute, and the beach areas are well maintained and beautiful.

I had a great experience at Castor River Campground. I took a group of high schoolers here to camp and watch the solar eclipse. Mary and her crew were so accommodating to my group. The campsite was clean and gorgeous right along side the river with a nice covered picnic table designed as a counter top one side that made meal prep easy. The grounds had nice trails to hike. The restrooms were clean and homey. Mary even work out getting enough canoes for my group to enjoy a float down the river before the eclipse.
