Peaceful place to visit
Summertime pool, picnic areas some with barbecue grills, covered picnic tables, kids playground equipment, tennis courts, skate park. Can reserve areas for your group events. Clean park and restrooms. Only once have I been forced to remind a dogs owner of his responsibility to pick up his pets deposit. I frequently read or enjoy my lunch here.
Big trees and surpassingly big.
They have shuttle bus service take you up from the parking lot and the visitor centre up to the trail entrance. They have various trails with obviously big trees all over.
There’s a bit of a hike depending on which trail you do but the view all along is amazing.
Nice little park! Has a skate park, public pool, a small amphitheater where they host movies, courts for tennis and basketball, a playground and a grassy field. I like that it’s kind of hidden up on the hill, with a nice view of the town.
It’s a beautiful small town to stay when visiting Yosemite, variety of food. Heads up if you want to go to visitors center to plan your trip , they close @5pm.
