The service is not worth the price. I stayed one night in early July 2025. When I left the hotel, I forgot my earphone in the room and they sent me a form to fill out to send my earphone back to me. They charged my credit card USDNULL and used Fedex ground shipping. I waited for almost 3 weeks and then my package was returned for no reason. I live in Canada and the package was returned within US. The tracking shows ‘unable to deliver’. Then I wrote more than 3 emails to the hotel and only got 1 reply saying they shipped the item already. I asked about the contact of the hotel manager and no any response. Until today (Aug 18, 2025), I don’t have any information of my earphone and I’ve already been charged ?. I hope the hotel management contact me and send my earphone back!

This is after the front desk reply. (Aug 21, 2025)
You replied that after you ship the lost item, it’s not under your control anymore.
The package should be returned to the sender, which is the hotel. The shipping company will not hold the package if it’s returned. I want to know where is my earphone. The hotel is the sender and should have the returned package.

Also I didn’t mention in my review that the service when we checked in was not good as well. An old woman answered our question with an attitude and was not helpful at all.

Must read before booking. Absolutely NOT worth the high price you will pay for this aged and ugly place. We had a terrible experience. First they put us in a room with the air conditioning working as noisy as a tractor. Then after changing the room we found the sink plug not working and there was no one around to fix it. So we had to brush our teeth on our knees using the bath tub faucet. But the crown of the performance is that some people tried to enter our room in the middle of the night since they forgot that they moved us and issued new keys to new people. If we didn’t have the safety lock, we would have these people in our room. After-all, they ignored our request to discount the money wasted on this “amazing” experience.

I felt compelled to write a review after the experience my family had with a specific staff member. I was traveling with my significant other’s family to visit a few different national parks, Yosemite being one of them. My MIL is in a wheelchair and struggles to walk. When we booked the hotel, we requested a handicapped room. She specifically needed that room because of the accessibility features in the bathroom.

When we arrived, an old woman with white hair was checking us in. We asked if the room assigned to us was handicapped, she informed us with an attitude that it was already taken. We were quite frustrated since you would expect a hotel to work around this situation when there is a request for the handicapped room and made comment about how it’s going to be difficult for her to wash up and move. They either should’ve made sure a handicapped room was available by the time we checked in or at the MINIMUM, tell us kindly without the attitude. She, instead, SNAPPED at us saying something along the lines of, “well, I can’t just kick them out, can INULL” I was completely taken aback by her tone. She looked incredibly annoyed. We asked her if there was at least some sort of stool or chair that they had that could be taken into the shower. The woman just dismisses her question and says there’s no chair that she could use. She should not be working in an environment that requires customer interactions if she doesn’t know how to behave herself. Absolutely unprofessional. We ended up going to the nearby grocery store to buy a cooler for my MIL to sit on in the shower.

Out of all the hotels I’ve been to in my life, and even just on this trip alone, I have never dealt with anyone with such a rude personality at the front desk. Until they decide to retrain this woman or get rid of her entirely, I would NOT recommend this hotel. The hotel itself was not nice enough to deal with and accept such a disgusting attitude.

Edit: Maybe it was not made clear, but we clearly BOOKED a handicap room months in advance. The reply claims that it can not be overridden, but I simply do not believe that. With every other hotel we have stayed in, we not only booked a handicap room, but confirmed with the staff checking us in. It was never an issue with any other hotel, except this one.

If you’ve ever dreamed of taking a lukewarm shower while listening to someone else’s kids run relay races in the hallway at 11pm, this is your place. The hot water didn’t really believe in being hot, but fortunately the front desk staff was so genuinely friendly during the marathon-length check-in that I almost forgot I still needed to bathe.

The rooms are clean, pet-friendly (on the first floor), and conveniently close to a nice park for the dog. The TV, on the other hand, is mostly decorative—good luck finding more than a handful of channels or any streaming service that doesn’t give you an error message. Thankfully, the WiFi worked well enough to remind me of everything I was missing.

Pro tip: the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs, which is both a kind gesture and a subtle acknowledgment that you’ll definitely need them.
