The Park was closed on March 1st, the day I visited. Nevertheless, I gave it four stars because of its beautiful location across the road from the Shell Rock River, and because of the park’s marvelous sign that was laser-cut from a sheet of steel. Later this spring, we’ll return to the park, and while we’re in the neighborhood, we’ll drive to nearby Marble Rock to visit the Historical Society center on Main Street.
