I’ve hiked here several times. There are almost 12 miles of trails, several of which criss-cross each other. Plenty of variety from marsh land, oak forest, and open plains. It can get a little gooey at certain times of year, or if it’s been wet recently. It’s fairly quiet and removed from traffic noise. Lots of wildlife and birds. I would like to see more trail markers.

Great variety of trails with different difficulties. Good scenery, they have the pond, streams, grassland, and forest to walk through

Beautiful, well maintained trails. Not sure if it was the holiday (Labor Day) or normal, but we were thrilled to only encounter other people at the trailhead. Whilst on the trail it felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Definitely coming back again.

What a gem of a park for all seasons. We had a wonderful time dog sledding as a part of Wright County Parks and Recreation programming and everything about the experience was pleasant and handled well. The park itself is huge with groomed trails and opportunities to rent equipment to enjoy them. There are also educational resources as a part of the park.
