Beautiful waterfalls, easy hike, and places to swim if you want. Also has a playground for kids and plenty of picnic tables. Wish we lived closer!
We love this park! There are many great hiking trails that are great for the whole family, some of them are a little edgy so take caution. There are a few good water holes we found.. and a spot where teenagers were cliff jumping into the water.
There is a pavilion with plenty of picnic tables. The area is shaded and clean. There is access to the river if you walk a trail through the woods.
I would have given this park a great review if it wasn’t for this death trap. A open ladder in the middle of the slide area. My daughter was standing in line for the slide, she backed up for some other kid and fell backwards down this thing. They need to do something about this immediately. Every single other parent there agreed that this was a death trap.
My dog and I enjoyed a beautiful hike today. We cooked dinner at the picnic area. Also, I was able to charge my powerstation before heading down the road. Bathrooms were clean.
