While it’s primarily known for its seasonal haunted trail experience, visitors should note that the terrain can become muddy after rain and the area features rugged, natural trails rather than manicured park spaces. If you’re looking for dog-friendly hiking with a bit of adventure, be sure to wear sturdy shoes and prepare for the outdoors. There’s a fire pit to keep warm during colder nights and plenty of authentic rural charm, making it a memorable spot for locals and visitors alike.
First off I just want to say that while I appreciate the effort you put into this that overall we were extremely disappointed. The amount of mud that was everywhere, cars having to be pulled out by tow trucks due to getting stuck was a bad experience. The first scene was great. There were three scenes that I did enjoy, the rest were not good. We got locked out and left behind and missed out on three scenes. The employees didn’t care that we missed out. They were not very nice or helpful. Actually quite rude to be honest. My granddaughter and I were stuck in the Marco Polo scene and were told if we yelled they would come get us out. We were locked in and I physically could not complete that scene. I had told them if there’s crawling or bending down far I can’t do it. They assured me I would be notified of any such scenes. I was not. I had to keep asking if the next scene was something I could complete. They took no regard to anyones safety. The trails are very dark and there are rocks and stumps that we almost fell on so many times. Our shoes are absolutely ruined from all the mud. Our car is filthy inside and out because of all of the mud. I paid NULL and probably got NULL worth of my money of enjoyment. The scene with the doctor was not even set up when we got to it! The guys running it said oh I don’t know why we aren’t ready. Everyone in our group was upset by that. I would recommend the actors to Learn to stay in character. And treat your paying customers better. I do not recommend this haunted woods at all. It was not scary in any way shape or form. It’s more like an obstacle course.
We also NEVER got a free photo that they said was included in the NULL admission price. We were ripped off so bad by this attraction. NULL down the drain.
Dots haunted woods is awesome. it is a great experience and the staff was excellent. there are plenty of jump scares and scenes and so much more. there is also a free 5’7 photo included in the NULL admission. i would recommend everyone go to Dots haunted woods.
Recently moved to the area and am very new. Decided to try out this haunted attraction and was not disappointed. The small town vibes were great. A little confusing on where to get tickets and parking was not monitored. Very dark, but adds to the spooky. There was a fire pit to keep warm and we were very grateful. A free photo provided. No parking fees. This place was great. The actors were fantastic and went above and beyond. Significantly better than any expensive Nashville attraction. No expensive unnecessary props here, the actors are the main event. The actors knew some people in the group and made it so personal and fun. We loved this place and will continue to return!
Dot was my bus driver back in the day and I haven’t been to the woods since I was a teen and it’s just as good now. It’s a haunted trail through the woods at night so be prepared. warm enough clothes right shoes and what not. The wait can seem like an eternal event.
I love a good home grown scare. I’ve been to some larger attractions and this one is worth the NULL for an hour of fun. The actors did a great job. Thanks for a wonderful time! The bus was our favorite part 😉
Note:2024 there is one part where you crawl for a brief moment. Be aware and tell your guide if you can’t get on your knees and back up. Get there early for parking and be prepared to be outside the entire time. Wear good walking shoes.
