Needs better trail tags!! We already informed the ranger- there was also a massive twiggy tree over the trail on a SEVERE INCLINE. We had moderate difficulty in blazing a path through and back… BUT we also had the option of turning around and calling it a day! The staff at this park are on the ball and very responsive and pro-active. I would just suggest checking with them before attempting to complete this trail- to make sure more tags have been added and clearing completed.
The area is serene and the trail follows the convergence of the Little Duck into the Duck.

What a pleasant hike! There is a short assent and descent which is a good heart pumper but otherwise it’s a pretty easy trail and the scenery is worth it. Lots of deer here to observe.

Parking lot for ~8-10. Map at trailhead. Glass shards throughout trail, fyi for dogs or other unguarded feet. Has river access. Cool 3D printed blazes on Eagle trail.

The main upper trail is nice and wide for easy walking. There is a loop trail up top that connects both ends to the main trail and one at the bottom of the hill as well that goes along the river and creek. The bottom can get muddy after a good rain. Great easy hike, not many people, good amount of animals/birds to watch.
