Lucky’s Dog Park offers a lively, social space for local pups and their owners in Manassas, VA. The park is known for its friendly regulars and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for birthdays, lunchtime play sessions, and everyday visits. With fence-secured areas, fire hydrant features, and an accessible entrance, Lucky’s caters to all kinds of dog lovers—including families and those needing wheelchair accessibility.
Both small and large dog areas are available, each equipped with water fountains to keep pets hydrated. Its location alongside a large parking lot means hassle-free arrival, and the park is praised for cleanliness and an engaging community vibe. Note that the park’s surface is fine gravel, which may not suit aggressive runners or dogs with sensitive paws. While some shade is present, it can be limited, and the gravel can become muddy after rain. Still, it’s a convenient, centrally located dog park in Manassas for safe, off-leash play.

Limited shade to none. Not set up for older people. Gravel like dirt when wet it nasty when it’s wet get on everything. when it’s dry then the dust comes up like dirt dust. Normal one or two days it nice after a rain. The two fountains one each section save lot of water. Wash hose is great. 3 stars cause of the main bedding of the yard of fine gravel. I see it washing out too. At hill side a little too much slop for water wash out

I come here regularly with my family and during my lunch break. Just be a responsible owner and respect other dogs and the space. I love that people randomly bring balls and toys. The regulars here are really friendly and love getting to know other people’s dogs (and the dogs enjoy it too!)

Not suited for very active runners who like to slide to stop. The whole area is fine gravel. Would be better if area was grass covered instead. We had to leave early because our dogs front paw pads got injured, cut-up and bleeding.
**Edited to add photos of her upper pawpads without the bandages.**

This is the most lively dog park I have ever been to . I brought my dog Harley here on Sunday for her birthday and there were so many dogs to play with . She had a amazing time: they were able to stay hydrated and had lots of shade .

I was hiking the trails with my pups and walked by this dog park. It is very spacious, and I love the fire hydrants in both the small dog and big dog sections. Both are about the same size. It appears to be very clean. There were only 1-3 dogs there when I walked by. It is conveniently located next to the large parking lot.
