Trafton Dog Park

Trafton Dog Park in Malden offers a unique play area primarily with peastone ground and a large rock pile for dogs to climb. It’s equipped with water, poop bags, trash bins, benches, and lighting that keeps the park open until 9 pm year-round. The park provides some shade for dogs to cool off and serves as a social and exercise hub for local dog owners. Access is currently challenging due to surrounding park renovations and limited parking near entrances.

Decent dog park. Unfortunately it’s not well maintained. Due to immature teens, shattered beer bottles are scattered everywhere.

Great space for my dog , water clean but need more doggie bags

Great group of people & their dogs; my dog & I drive over daily as part of our routine/socialization/exercise around the dog park & the general park/neighborhood afterwards.

My Lucy and I love this Dog Park! The dogs love climbing up on the rocks and there’s plenty of shade for them to cool off.
The park has a new water pump, new benches and folks really love that. Unfortunately, the new stones seem to be a problem for many dogs. They are very small and do get caught in paws.
As the only Dog Park in Malden, it’s a very happy place 😄

This is an interesting dog park. The main area is peastone, but there is a large rock pile/mound at the back of the space that the dogs can climb.
Water, bags, trash are all there and park lighting has the dog park open til 9, year round.
Trafton park itself is under renovation, which means that getting to the dog park is difficult if you’re driving as there is no parking on the street with the main entrance, and the back entrance is blocked.
