Located conveniently on Boston Post Rd, Madison Dog Park offers a great space for dogs to romp and socialize off-leash in Madison, Connecticut. This fully fenced dog park is spacious enough for energetic pups to run and play fetch, with many visitors noting how much their dogs enjoy the safe environment. There are tennis rackets available for guests who want to give their arms a break while playing fetch with their dogs, making it a unique and practical amenity.
The park features a clean and well-maintained environment with attentive pet owners, a few benches for seating, and a secure fence with quality gates. Though there isn’t any shade yet and no running water at the park, visitors will find water dishes provided (be sure to bring your own water). With ample room and a friendly local community, Madison Dog Park is a top choice for off-leash exercise along the Connecticut shoreline.
Nice location
Enough room for my 70lb doodle mix to get up to full speed chasing a ball, there are also tennis rackets available to save your throwing arm! As a new park there are some things that will take time to finish like trees for shade, and the possibility of a sectioned off area for small dogs, and other little miscellaneous things but for the most part its great! They have a couple benches to sit down and the fence and gates look very nice👍
Our Aussie adores this place. Plenty of room for him to stretch his legs at full speed. All the dogs we’ve met in our four visits have been pleasant, as have their owners. It’s quite clean, people seem to pick up well after their pooches. The downsides are that there’s no shade, and sometimes fierce winds off the nearby ocean. BYOW – there are water dishes but no running water.
