We love this park! Just blocks from downtown Macon, we can walk from our apartment easily. The staff is so welcoming and know most of the dogs by name. The other dogs are well behaved and the owners are very engaged to ensure there are no issues between two dogs. Their beverage selection is on point, rotating drafts, seltzer, craft brews, and non-alcoholic beverages as well. Our dog also loves it, too! He mostly enjoys watching the other dogs run around but he will occasionally join a game of chase. Definitely at great way to spend our time decompressing after work instead of sitting in front of the TV streaming shows.
Great dog park with a lot of friendly dogs and owners. We took my brother’s golden doodle and she had a blast with with the running space, toys, water to splash in and so many dogs to match her energy. I learned that this place has a good number of events planned from music, dog painters/other vendors, discounted drink days, etc. Really excited to have something like this in town for my family’s dogs and will be checking their calendar to see what’s planned in the next couple of months. Side note: Make sure to check the website beforehand and have record of dogs vaccinations and whatever else they require.
This place is the best, as good or better than anything Atlanta has to offer! Fun place to hang out for the people and the dog people. Recently moved to Macon, we’ve been coming here almost since day one and it has become our community. We’ve found friends here, a wonderful outlet for our puppy, and couldn’t be happier about it.
Barks n Brews is my absolute favorite place to take my dog. We come here Wednesday through Sunday and I get to have a variety of beers, wines, and ciders while my dog plays. I tell everyone to come here. It’s a fun and safe environment to take your dog! 12/10 recommended.
It is a wonderful place for dogs and their owners. The bar offers a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for everyone. We enjoy bringing our dogs here!
