Wonderful trail. Amazing view. If you walk it take both loops. It doesn’t add much time and both routes are beautiful.
I’ve lived in Ohio my entire life (born 1971). I’ve been to every county in the state and I had no idea this place existed until this year.
AMAZING.
There were 14 people here on the day I came (3/25/24), so it is not overly populated. One group of 5 brought their dog – don’t do that if you come. There are no pets allowed.
Rucked the entire trail and will definitely be back.
It was great! I always try to come do this hike at least once annually and it did not disappoint!
Great hike, round trip is 2.4 miles. We saw red tailed hawk, white tailed deers and turkey vultures.
Hike was moderate climb.
Tl;dr nice hike, score 10/10 buzzards
Thought I’d swoop on down to check it out after hearing all the buzz.
Pulled into the lot at 9:47, not another soul in sight
Well maintained trails, pleasant hike. One other person in the trail.
I will say multiple dog tracks despite at least 2 signs about no dogs.
The roost rock did not disappoint. Saw several buzzards.
Fun hike on a nice trail would give this 10/10 buzzards.
