Located at the Alan & Edgar Rice Nature Preserve, Senter Falls offers a picturesque destination for nature lovers and their dogs. This scenic spot, just outside the heart of Lyndeborough, NH, features a short loop hike leading to beautiful waterfalls, making it a popular choice for dog-friendly hiking and pet-friendly outdoor adventures. Follow the well-marked blue trails to enjoy a relatively easy walk through the woods, complete with cascading falls, horse-tail features, and photo-worthy natural surroundings.
While Senter Falls is not a traditional fenced dog park, it provides an ideal environment for well-behaved dogs on a leash to explore the trails and natural water features. Do keep in mind there are limited parking spaces—just two spots across from the trailhead—and some sections can be buggy or muddy depending on the season, so plan accordingly. The falls are easily reached without too steep an incline, and your four-legged friend will love the nature-filled experience this unique New Hampshire destination offers.
The trail to the right is direct to the falls and not too steep.
Location is further up the river, but you can’t miss the falls on the 1/2 mile loop hike.

Only 2 parking spots across from the trail, and down a very narrow, truck used, dirt road, plus very buggy…BUT…
Once you prepare for this, there’s quite a few pretty and photogenic falls going down a total of over 100′! Cascades, horse-tails, slides… all there.
Nice place to practice your shots or be out in the middle of nowhere even though you’re not that far away.

Great little hike, follow the blue signs to stay on trail passing a bridge after a 100 ft walk into the woods stay right at the first trail intersection the left takes you up hill very steep incline.. stopped about 3-500 ft after the falls showed up on our right side! Well worth it! Not as much bugs as I expected and not as much mud either!
