The trail offers a moderate hike, especially near the waterfalls where the terrain descends steeply. It’s a perfect spot for adventurous dog owners seeking dog-friendly hiking trails in southern New Hampshire. Parking is available at the trailhead, with limited spots during snowy seasons and more accessibility in warmer months. While the park shines in all four seasons with exceptional views and ice formations in the winter, be prepared for mud and bugs during spring. Always check trail conditions for a safe and delightful visit with your pet!

Parked up here to see the upper falls and middle falls. It was about 1.5 miles out and back.

The trail is easy up until you reach the waterfall, a bit challenging due to the steep decline to get down to the base of the waterfall. Overall it was worth it.

Nice little parking area, space for a handful of cars. We parked in winter, with some snow on all sides, so maybe space for 4 cars to be able to easily get in and out. I’d say in summer there’s probably significantly more space. It’s a great trail, even in icy winter conditions. About a mile and a quarter in, so roughly 2.5 miles round trip. About an hour in to the falls, in current conditions. Right now parts of the trail are iced over and some parts are covered in streams and mud. So expect a slippery, dirty walk but not too much trouble. We didn’t make it down to the base of the falls, I’m not sure which trail goes that way but by the time we got to the falls area we decided climbing down from where we were would be too risky. Others were down there, so next time maybe we take a different route. Really nice walk either way.

Moderate bc of the rocks when your climbing. Def not easy. Peaceful. Quick trail to a nice sized waterfall!! Enjoy the views!!
