Public Parking Luna Pier – Dog-Friendly Options in Luna Pier, MI

If you’re searching for a convenient spot to access the local beach with your pup, Public Parking Luna Pier offers a practical choice. Located right on Luna Pier Road, this area is wheelchair accessible with a parking lot designed to accommodate those with mobility needs. While the park’s focus is general public access rather than a dedicated dog park in Luna Pier, MI, its close proximity to the waterfront and easy access from the parking area can make it appealing to pet owners looking for a walk or a quick stop along the lake.

Visitors should be aware that there is a fee for parking and while accessibility is a plus, upkeep of the beach—especially in terms of cleanliness—has been noted as lacking at times. The area’s main advantages are its accessibility and immediate beach access. Be mindful that amenities for dogs specifically, such as fenced runs or off-leash play spaces, aren’t featured here, making it more suitable for leashed walks along the waterfront rather than robust dog park activity.

NULL an hour. 1 machine is broken.
Better off staying at Sterling with our park pass. Especially since it is loaded with shells, the same as sterling state park.

Paid parking; which is understandable. But there is no upkeep of the beach; which is not understandable. There is dead fish & trash along the entire beach.

Nolan Williams
