Tuckers the pups out everytime!!!
This place is really great! My wife and I enjoy taking our puppy here. She had a little trouble finding it at first but eventually you see the fence in the back of the property. It could use one more sign for the dog park area. They have a big property with chain link fence that separates small dogs from large dogs. There is a water spigot and buckets to give your dog water. There is also benches for the owners. Highly recommend!
I’m new to North Carolina and still can’t believe the vastness of many of the dog parks. Poston Park is huge. If you want the closest parking to the dog park use the following in your GPS: 1101 Lowell Spencer Mountain Rd.There are no posted hours, but the gates to the main park close at 11 and I would assume the dog park closes at dark. Grounds are well-maintained and there were even buckets filled with water.
Best dog park in the region in my opinion featuring huge bordering compounds with chain link fencing along with ramped, separately gated transition entries; one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. Both have grassy expanses and shady, tree covered areas with lots of benches from which one can watch them romp and blissfully play about leashless! Well kept grounds and lengthy paved walks around the soccer fields approach! Ample watering accessibilty as well as restroom facilities, playgrounds, ball fields, and bicycle trails. My dog adores going to this park and starts avidly barking from inside the car!
It’s amazing and so big for my big boys , they were running non stop !!
