Club K9 Dog Park Bar in Louisville, KY, offers a dedicated dog-friendly space for off-leash play. While detailed amenities are not fully specified, the park is known for providing a safe and social environment for dogs.
Absolutely love this dog bar! Large indoor and outdoor space for dogs with games, a beautiful dog pool, lovely decor and great drinks! The staff ensure every safety measure is taken to protect each pupper from vetting for vaccinations/health records prior to entering to multiple staff on hand to monitor and assist with any issues that may arise with the dogs.
Very professional staff, decently priced drinks etc, lovely play area and tons and tons of activities planned for the dogs and humans! I’ve been to my fair share of dog bars from here in town to neighboring states and then some and this one by far exceeds all others that came before and saw after. Love it! 12/10.
Love it here. We will most definitely be returning every chance we get! That swimming pool is the cutest, funnest, dog pool I’ve seen to date. Awesome job.
This place was amazing! We found ourselves stranded in Louisville for 15 days whilst helping a friend move to the area. We are from Delaware. In an attempt to make the best out of a bad situation I searched for things to do with my 4.5yro Belgian Malinois. My google search turned up Club K9 and found out they were one of the few dog parks that weren’t a members only situation. You could purchase a day pass and with a quick registration on their website where you upload proof of vaccination records you’re all set! We visited on a day when thunder storms kept rolling through with periods of calm but high heat. We arrived at the park, checked in with the desk where they verified our Vx records and payment and we were off. They have a nice admittance area where you can unleash your dog and allow for introduction at your own pace. Loki is a rush out of the gate fella which can unnerve some dogs so I always wait to open the gate until I can a calm down stay out of him. Then I unleash the Kraken! The young lady who was there to monitor the dog interactions was amazing. She was familiar with his breed which was awesome as they can be misunderstood. She was amazing at keeping an out on the entire park, and thankfully there was no need for concern but it’s nice to know someone is watching. The drinks from the full service bar were delicious and cold. The dog pool with 2 spray fountains was an awesome place for the dogs to cool off. Loki did his signature head dip and hair flip and got a few pet parents sprinkled as if he were an attraction at SeaWorld and they just laughed and shook it off. It’s an all around great atmosphere with great patrons. I was extremely confused by the few low reviews claiming that the place was elitist and not at all welcoming to outsiders. We did not have that experience at all. The owner knew immediately that she didn’t recognize our dog and came up and introduced herself and told us about all the neat pet friendly activities they host. We found out that the young lady who checked us in and then watched over the park, dogs and patrons attentively was her daughter. We felt very welcomed and at ease. I suspect the negative comments probably left out the part where their dogs were not as social as they had hoped. I would never hold a business accountable if I found out my dog wasn’t a good fit there, thankfully in Loki’s case he blended right in. Oh! They also had a full dog washing station to clean your pup up after! THANK YOU Club K9 for our adding a bright spot in our disaster trip. We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area.
Love this place! Fun inclusive atomsphere, humans over 21 is welcome. Doggys over 4 month with shot record are encouraged to have tons of fun.
Great place – I used to come here a few times a week when I lived in Louisville. The folks who come here are by & large really nice and chill. Staff is attentive; in over a year of coming here I barely ever saw any incidents between dogs (or people).
The themed days and holiday events can be a bit hectic, so probably best to skip those and go mid-week after work if you’ve got an anxious dog. Coming here did wonders for socializing my own anxious dog, even now she’s much more confident than she used to be.
Awesome place!! Fun for your dog and even more fun for you! Lots fo games, comfy chairs and for those hot summer days theres a poop for the dogs and water misting fans all over the place for the humans! Great drinks and food trucks, I honestly took a nap in a lawn chair at one point while my aussie splashed around in the pool area. Deff a recommend from me for anyone else that loves their dog
