FAQ for V.E. and Lydia H. Owens Recreational Park at Bull Creek in Louisburg North Carolina:
According to the signage, they are open from sunrise to sunset daily. Open to the public, managed by NC Wildlife. Pond fishing, nice fishing pier, very nice kids playground, pickleball court, tennis court, frisbee golf, picnic shelter, pondside picnic tables, plus beautiful scenery. Lots of clean bathrooms. We were there on a Sunday and there were just 2 other people fishing. We stumbled on it while taking a Sunday drive. Go check it out. Great family fun!
This playground was very nice! It is very well maintained with lots of open space including trails for walking, and a pond. The play equipment includes: three different slides, hanging activities, two climbing walls, stepping stone activities, two swings, as well as a wall with pots and pans attached for musical play. My only complaint was that on the day we went, we had to use the restroom and the toilet was extremely clogged and unkept.
Nice little playground out in the open with ACRES of open space to walk around or for the kiddos to run around outdoors. A bathroom building is nearby too which is good. The playground has THREE different slides from the upper level! There are groves of pine trees nearby a pond. Nice little park with a butterfly garden too!
Beautiful park. Disc golf course and fishing dock are brand new as well as the playground across the street. I have not had a chance to explore the entire park but it is very nice and we’ll maintained.
I really enjoy the new trails they have added. I enjoy getting my daily walk here. Always looks clean and well kept. Also like that they have added benches and a small garden. The parking is not paved just gravel. That’s why they get 4 stars other than that I recommend the park.
