This park has been upgraded, there is plenty of grass and multiple baseball fields. I’ve never seen poop there. The locals use it and take great care of it. I seen a herd of dozens of dogs playing and having a great time. Truly the best dog park for running around off leash I’ve ever seen. The views are great and the atmosphere was peaceful. There are rabbits and I once even seen a couple of coyotes from the nearby wetlands. It’s a hidden gem .

Half a block north of Barrington Recreation Center, here’s more tree lined open space to play baseball, soccer and do whatever within reason!
A park for people and dogs, there’s also an enclosed dog run at the lower end of the parking lot allowing space for dog walkers and apartment dwellers to go with fun loving pets!
The park is on land from the north end of the VA Center and includes a tribute to our military services.
There’s paid parking spaces available and temporary street-side bus staging as permitted, with drivers in attendance.
A locked portable toilet may be available for team use and paid parking user’s. Otherwise, public restrooms are available during operating hours at the nearby Barrington Recreation Center, just steps away.

Dog park is open and much improved. This is on VA property; there are parking fees but free for veterans, street parking is nearby. Adjacent ball fields with plenty of grass are also used for off-leash play. Many dog sitter/handlers come during the day so there are plenty of dogs to socialize with.
