🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Grand Park Dog Park in downtown Los Angeles, California, is a small but convenient spot for local dog owners looking for an off-leash area to let their pups run and play. Located just steps from public transit and accessible to those living in Koreatown and Downtown LA, this dog park offers a rare bit of fenced freedom in the midst of the city.
The dog park includes amenities such as drinking fountains for pups and poop bags, making it easy for pet owners to keep their dogs hydrated and the space clean. Benches are located throughout for relaxing while your dog plays. While the park is on the smaller side and lacks separation for big and small dogs, its peaceful, uncrowded environment makes it a solid choice for quick city outings and a must-know for those seeking dog-friendly places in Los Angeles.
Good park, has a dog area but pretty small. No separation between big and little dogs tho.

Not the best dog park I’ve been to but it is super nice to have a dog park in the city.

Update: NOW OPEN AS OF JAN. 5, 2022. This dog park is finally open. Decently sized – maybe 25’x100’ or so. No separation for big and small dogs. Five benches. Two dog fountains. Dog poop bags provided. Went in the afternoon on a weekday, and we were the only ones there.
Update: Still closed as of 2/6/21. CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION. This is the closest dog park to Koreatown, but it is closed. Koreatown is the most densely populated neighborhood in Los Angeles, but one of the most park poor areas, so this is especially disappointing to make the trek to DTLA and see it closed. This is one of the only dog parks in LA that is easily accessible by public transit, but it is not open, nor is there any signage indicating when construction will be complete.
FYI, the next closest leash free dog park accessible by public transportation is the LA Live Dog Park, which is open.

Very very very small “dog park” there are drinking fountains for pups in the area and poop bags are provided
I would say it’s more like a play pen, with a capacity of 5 dogs
Came here during Covid and there’s no one here so I guess that’s a plus
