22/3 1st Review/patron (after a long day’s hike, our group of four relaxed at this narrow, elongated park while we waiting for a seat to open up at the BBQ restaurant across the parking lot):– Plenty of free, paved, level parking the entire length of this well groomed, inviting park…with decent restaurants to enjoy on the other side of the parking lot.– Lots of movable, metal, 4-person tables and chairs make it easy to gather any size group in the sun or under the shade of a tree while on the cement areas or on the grassy lawn area.– Plenty of grass to enjoy playing simple lawn games. Though no large sports fields/bleachers if one is looking for that sort of thing.– A modest, modern playground for the kids.– Large, covered picnic tables area completely on and surrounded by very easy access cement base/walkways.Though no walking path around the entire park if one’s looking to “do laps.”– One reviewer mentioned a spray park, it was not apparent on this trip.– A simple skate park caps off the s.w. end..[See pix & 1 video posted]

Not going to pay the man to use a public park . People parking there while enjoying the river just looked like a cash cow to the park district , so pay NULL or the fine if caught of NULL.Way too many other places to go and not have to pay for public land use.
Decent park. Bathrooms are generally nice, not as trashy as other parks. Okay for dogs. Tends to be clean mostly. Excellent restroom stop for those who need it. River right across the street (NULL day use)Overall a good place to chill for a minute.
