Wonderful hike along the lookout mountain bluff, with phenomenal views of the valley and plenty of mountain features such as creeks, rocks, cliffs, etc., to keep the hike interesting. Hike took about 2.5 hours from Covenant trailhead to point park. Trail was well maintained but not crowded.

Pretty fun hike with the pup. Was out there for about 5 hours and never saw another person. If you like a good hike by yourself, check out this spot.

This is an interesting less travelled trail with its own edge of the world feel. From the location on this map, it’s all downhill on a narrow path through a dense forested area. I didn’t see any places where the trail comes out of the woods and remember that it’s all uphill on the way back 🙂

Wish I had more time to explore when I went. I will most definitely be back. I love long scenic trails that are easy to follow & see. Bonus, it’s close to the house & Stella loved it as well
