This agency is hosting an adoption event in a PETSMART, where all animals are welcome.
With that said, I’m not sure why cats that are scared or don’t do well with dogs are in the front and middle of the pet store.
I told my dog to look at the cats, & brought her closer. Instead of being transparent the one volunteer I guess was insinuating the cats don’t do well with dogs while the other volunteer rudely stated “yeah, please don’t do that.” Please put a sign if these potential adoptees don’t do well with dogs and maybe they should be on the side and not front middle of the store.
I was originally discouraged as I thought this was crossed paws, asI’ve been looking to adopt with them. But luckily this was not them. They were closer to the front and incredibly welcoming. I appreciate their online profiles that include if their animals do well with others.
They are great and they really go the extra mile before, during, and after adoption. The animals are well cared for and loved as they await their new homes. Our poodle was up to date on vaccinations, spayed, dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, and already micro-chipped. Our Mia is now 6 months old we got her when she was 8 weeks old and she has been a pleasure, we all enjoy her; she has a wonderful disposition and friendly with other dogs, and kids. We couldn’t be happier with Posh Pets and our new babe

I’ve adopted three of my cats over the years from Posh Pets Rescue. They have always gone above and beyond in matching me with a good fit for my household , checking in to make sure all was well and providing support if needed . The directors , staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and care deeply for the well being of all the pets in their rescue .
