A great spot to go for a brisk morning walk or ride before you go to work. Most of the trail is paved and there are full crosswalks on the road crossings. The west part of the trail, between Sanborn Rd and Harvey Rd, has some interesting historical sights and remnants of the railroad along the sides of the trail, including the remnants of an old trolley line that ran parallel to the modern rail trail. If you go early in the morning, you may see some wildlife along the trail. I’ve seen ducks, small birds and even an owl on past walks.

Great place to see wildlife unless there is a dog around therefore it is not possible.

Great trail for walking with or without a dog, biking, roller skating. Going from the airport side towards Londonderry, it’s a paved surface that intersects a few roads. Once you get into Londonderry the pavement ends, but making a loop out of just the paved section gets you about 9 miles. Good points to stop and rest every so often with benches installed.
