London Laurel County Wellness Park is located in vicinity of Laurel Public Library & Laurel Somerset community college. There’s two ponds right before the park, a track closed to one mile. There’s also a rail road track right across the park, where I had a pleasure of watching a train pass up close. Off trail is a random closed gated area with beneath the park. Gave me the chills looking close into it. Scott Rose foundation playground & musical park is pretty unique. It was right after a snowstorm so it was pretty quiet. All and all it was a great park with a nice scenery of the mountainous country side.

There are multiple things to do here. Hiking, basketball, playground for children, and it’s dog friendly. I love how they included the historical coal towers into the design of the park for a shaded picnic area! That’s an amazing idea. We need more parks like this!
