Located conveniently along E Front St, Aqueduct Park Trail is a pet-friendly trail in Logan, Ohio, known for its quiet atmosphere and scenic views. The mowed grassy path is perfect for short hikes and quick dog walks, stretching roughly 0.3 miles one way. The trail offers a peaceful escape with local charm, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a stroll with your dog or a relaxing outdoor meal.
While this park doesn’t feature traditional dog park amenities like fenced areas or separate sections for large and small dogs, it does offer a designated pet waste disposal area and bag dispenser at the parking lot for your convenience. The trail connects close to the fairgrounds and is part of the Oldtown Creek Trail, giving visitors the chance to explore more pet-friendly trails in Logan. With its laid-back vibe, easy access, and open space, Aqueduct Park Trail is a great choice for local dog owners seeking a simple, enjoyable outing with their pets.
For the most part the trail seems bumpy and almost slightly cared for, the scenery is nice but the trail isn’t the best from what I’ve seen, taking a hike/walk at somewhere like ash cave may be better
I’m in agreement with the majority here. The trail is short and mowed, tons of ticks to the end and back. Maybe it would be a better walk during winter. It would be nice if it could connect to the oldtown trail.
Nice stop to eat when it’s warm out or to walk the dog. Pet waste bags and disposal can at the parking lot. Basically an eating area and a path that goes back to the railroad tracks. There is a walkway that crosses front street that heads to the fairgrounds. Nothing entertaining for children. It’s good for a quick walk alone or with your dog or eating outside. No grills.
Kids Loved it ❤️ very quiet
I rated this as a 3 star because Aqueduct Park Trail is a grass trail that goes 3/10th ‘s of a mile one way and back. What I found out later is that it is part of the Oldtown Creek Trail that starts at the fairgrounds. I’ll have to come back and hike the rest of the trail.
