Located in the heart of Lodi, Salas Park is a spacious and inviting green space perfect for families, athletes, and pet lovers alike. With sprawling, well-maintained grassy areas, this park boasts four baseball fields, plenty of shade from beautiful mature trees, and a friendly, community-oriented atmosphere that makes it one of the best dog-friendly outdoor destinations in the area. If you’re searching for a dog park in Lodi, California, Salas Park provides ample room for on-leash adventures, picnics, and relaxation just steps away from local neighborhoods.
Visitors enjoy scenic views, convenient (though sometimes limited) parking, restroom access, and the bonus of a snack bar during sporting events. While shade and open space make this a pet-friendly spot and an ideal stop for dog-friendly walks, the park is best enjoyed during daylight hours. Families and dog owners appreciate the accessible paths, green grass, and overall sense of safety and cleanliness for both pets and children.
This is a great park to go hang out at, or in my case watch people bash eachother with old school weapons and gear, the grass is usually always green, it has 4 baseball parks and is generally a fun atmosphere to be at for some games, the parking is spacious and has extra street parking, the bathrooms are eh, I mean they are public, but still mostly clean, not alot of homeless people so you dont feel grunge, and my kids enjoy coming here

I just drove to the park for some sun and to eat outside. Went over towards my favorite spot and saw a large homeless encampment. Men began walking over to me and it didn’t feel good, and one came up to my window and began knocking on it, so I pulled out of my spot and drove to the other side only to find men apparently living in cars. Two of them began coming towards me, so I left. I feel terrible for the homeless people and for the people who just want to go enjoy the park. It’s a beautiful park that is now become a sad state of affairs. 😥

After looking at the previous activity it looks like a very nice park to raise a family.
