Best park, from the zoo, to the garden, the fishing area. Oh yeah can’t forget the museum. So much to experience for such an affordable price. Pleas don’t miss out on this gem
Micke Grove Park is a massive, shady oasis with a fantastic playground, ample open space, picnic spots, and a giant splash pad. The kids had a blast running around and playing together since there was so much shade. There are a few cool attractions to stroll to, like a Japanese tea garden, a small zoo, and a rose garden. The entry fee was around NULL, so it’s super affordable, and there was plenty of parking when we went on a busy weekend. I highly recommend checking out this park for a day if you’re looking for something unique and fun for the kids.
Has multiple play areas, the one by the splash pad has oak trees over it which gives great shade in the summer. Also has a bathroom next to it (if you have kids you know this is a plus). Pleasant and quiet when we came, so it was enjoyable. There were cute ducks and a fountain that helped keep the area cool with a breeze. Fee isn’t too bad, NULL when we came.
I love Mickie Grove park been going here for at least 30 years through my life what I miss the most is the “FunLand” the Zoo is wonderful, there is the Japanese Rose Garden. So many shady areas. Love this place ❤️
A fairly large park area that includes a sweeping water feature, splash pad, plenty of bathroom facilities, walking paths, Japanese Garden, playgrounds, a fun park, and zoo. You can plan to spend a morning for everything minus the zoo. Please don’t feed the ducks. They could do a bit more cleaning and maintenance in many areas.
