Great place to walk with my dog. It is level and flat. Kept clean and a bathroom is at the park in the middle of the walk. Plus it is free!

My autistic adult son and I absolutely love coming here! The trail is about 3 miles point to point and paved with the majority of it shaded. Every one we pass has always been so friendly & kind and we have even encouraged other autism families to join us for our extremely therapeutic nature walks to help not only Moms like me rejuvenate, but to help release the daily stress our special guys and girls try to cope with. I find both my son and I are more relaxed and feel so much more calm and at ease after we take in the beauty of the Heritage Trail. Highly recommend to anyone needing to escape from those stressful moments in their day and especially for any family living and caring for a loved one with ANY special need. FYI: Wheel chair friendly too. ((HUGS))

It’s a nice walking trail to take in a view alongside sand and dust roads.

Pleasant walk. Quiet, little traffic, and a paved walk way, flat, safe, and free from trip hazards.
To the end at round about and back besides, the Chevy dealership is close to 3 miles. Generally, I complete the round trip in an hour and fifteen minutes. I’m 64 and in pretty good health, so I’d say that’s probably average.
Notably, I enjoy nature and all its sounds from good footing and a safe environment.
