Ok so here it goes…The park is quaint but doesn’t really feel like a quality park. Tennis court needs to be updated, basketball courts need repair, and where are the swings??? What park doesn’t have swings? Unless it’s a dog park. There is so much unused space at one end that has so much potential. Since that part of the park floods maybe a pond there would be a great idea. With a bridge that goes across it. Add a quad seesaw or something. I do like the awning out there. Perfect for events. Update grills or take them out and people can bring their own. The sitting areas need to be updates so many curse words written all over them and the metal has holes in it. Really should have lights out there too in certain spots. It’s a good park but it can be better.

I was passing through and stopped in Littlefield for the night. I went to the park to do some metal detecting. There were a whole lot of kids of all ages playing in the cool of the evening. Well behaved, pleasant, and interested in what I was doing. Nice people. The only problem was being eaten alive by the mosquitoes.

This is a very large park with a wonderful walking trail. Each lap around the park is one mile. There a re basketball and tennis courts here. There is play equipment for young kids. There is a Pavillion for group gatherings/parties. There are picnic tables and some grills,( although I would not cook on those grills unless you completely cover them with foil.) Dogs are allowed in the park on a leash.

It’s a great park for children to have fun and play. Go in the morning before 10 a.m. or it gets too hot. The playground itself is not shaded.
