MacArthur Dog Park and Recreation

MacArthur Dog Park and Recreation offers a wheelchair accessible, well-maintained green space perfect for dogs to run and play. It features two water troughs suitable for dogs of all sizes and has a calm, dog-friendly atmosphere with convenient accessibility amenities. The park is family-friendly with nearby museum attractions and an eye-catching dog-themed painted fire hydrant. While seating is limited primarily to large rocks and shade is sparse, it remains a popular spot for dog exercise and socializing.

Awesome family fun! Museum is near by. Really good spot for pictures! Handicap accessible.
We really enjoy this dog park. The city does a great job keeping it up. It was mowed this morning, so all of the balls had been chopped up. Good thing we brought two with us as is the norm.
Two water troughs, one small enough for the little dogs who want to play with the big guys. The water faucet is easy to operate and rinse and fill the tubs with when needed.
Love the grass, and the size is perfect. Well, Finn likes the size for chasing balls from one end to the other.
Most of the dog owners do a good job picking up after their pups.
Its fine. They removed the control button for the splash pad style sprayer. Hopefully that comes back in summer, it’s my dog’s favorite part.
The only place to sit down is on large rocks set up for dog play, and very little shade in the park. But if you just need a place for dog running, this is fine.
We loved this park. We only went once so far but it was so cute, had a really adorable painted fire hydrant but it was painted dog themed but it was super super cool. Sadly nobody else was there when we went but it was nice to have the place to ourselves at that point
This park is sweet! Awesome playground and alot of history in the area. I wish the city would handle the homeless population. I get it, there are people without homes that need a place to sleep but it seems the majority of random stragglers walking right through the playground are junkies and intend to stay that way.
