There are nicer Springs than this one. The upside about this one is that the whole thing is shallow, so it is good for little kids. Also, there is no loud music or drugs/alcohol being used on sight. Another plus, there are life guards.
Negatives is that they divide the day in two, or you pick morning or afternoon to go. Second, it gets really crowded.
Overall, the kids had a very good time. They all seemed happy.
We love this place. The staff at the front is super nice and friendly. The grounds are clean. We love being able to swim and play in fresh water.
The spring is beautiful! The only downside is the two swim times. But campers obviously can swim without concern for the availability. Would like to check out more fishing areas in my next trip. Found a little brackish Creek near the spring head, but not really enough room for more than 2 people.
Beautiful park. Affordable fun for everyone. NULL per car and NULL per person to swim. Water stays at a crisp 72° year round. Great playground for the kids. Clean bathrooms. Grills at every covered pavilion with picnic tables all around.
Absolutely beautiful springs!! We had such a great time. There was an ample amount of picnic tables and charcoal grills to cook on with plenty of shade from the trees. The swimming is split into two different time frames and it was not overcrowded what so ever. We will definitely be going again!
