Holman Conservation Area is a beautiful nature spot featuring hiking trails that loop around a body of water. The trails are wide grassy paths through reclaimed habitat, making it a lovely place for bird and wildlife viewing. Visitors should be aware of ticks, especially in warmer months.

Tick warning! Beautiful reclaimed habitat for birds and wildlife, but also, unfortunately, ticks. The trails are old grass-covered dirt roads and when we were there in June there were dog ticks everywhere waiting on the top of grasses. After picking off a dozen or more each we cut our hike short.
