Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Located in Linden, MI, Eagle’s Wooden Park is a local favorite for families and dog owners alike. This pet-friendly park features ample green space, inviting trails, and a boardwalk perfect for leisurely strolls or dog-friendly hikes. With beautiful natural scenery and frequent deer sightings, it’s a haven for nature lovers and those looking to enjoy some time outdoors with their pets.
The park stands out for its spacious playgrounds, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and well-maintained public restrooms. While there are reports that some play structures could use maintenance, the cleanliness of the facilities and accessible bathrooms are often praised. With a kid-friendly atmosphere and on-site parking, Eagle’s Wooden Park is not only a great spot for dog walkers but also for families seeking a pleasant day in the heart of Linden. Enjoy the wheelchair accessible entrance and parking, making this park inviting for everyone.
While I love Wooden Park, it needs some major up dates. The climbing “spider webs” are so old and falling apart the kids can’t use them. The wood is rotted in some areas. The old tires that were used, need replacing. The city of Linden needs to update and repair this park’s play area.
The addition of the bathrooms was a nice added touch!
Had s great time with the kids on the playground and on a small nature walk! The kids love all the fun options the park offers!
I love this park! Great place to relax as you walk the boardwalk or bring the kids to play. Come out early to see the deer, there are a lot of them!
While this is a nice place to spend an afternoon with your kids, the park is in a bit of disrepair. Some of the play structures have missing boards that need replacing, like a boat shaped wooden structure, and some of the play equipment is just plain broken like the tire horse.
If the park had a bit of maintenance, it would probably be five star as a great place to spend time.
I couldn’t get my daighternto leave. 3 hours and she was still not wanting to leave. I love the little trail with the wooden bridge and the bathrooms are clean!! That’s a huge bonus to me
