This beautiful, worthwhile hike was listed as a loop, but once at the destination (the top), there were no signs or markings to indicate how to get back down to any of the parking lots. All hikers at the top had no clue how to get back down, except to use the same trail that was used going up. We navigated our way down to the bottom, on a trail that appeared to be a loop, but were nowhere close to where we parked at the main parking area. We ended up having to walk another
2 and 1/2 mi through the city to get back to our car.
In summary, it’s a worthwhile hike with great views at the top, but there needs to be signage and markings with regard to how to return to the parking areas at the bottom.
