A unique place with a large covered shelter/picnic area. The beach is quite minimal here.
Not sure why the first rating was a one star. That was totally a mistake. The beach is secluded, and facilities were available. There are large boulders placed in the water to keep erosion minimized, but it doesn’t affect your swim.
Nice peaceful quiet beach, beautiful white sand and unique rocks. I enjoyed the walk along the beach and found many interesting rocks too.
Just beautiful to check out! So many colorful rocks! The scenery was incredible. We could see smokestacks over in Canada. And some eagles flew over our heads. Found some apples near the shore from a tree by the beach. Lake Huron is a gem! There were a couple benches to sit on. But getting to the shore required going down long, steep stairs. Perhaps there was another way down that we couldn’t find. But this meant our friend with a mobility aid was not able to go to the shore.
