Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Masterson Hills Park is a charming local retreat located at 277 Lucille Dr, nestled in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. This neighborhood park is well loved for its tranquil atmosphere, clean and well-maintained grounds, and family-friendly amenities. With paved walking trails, a basketball half-court, and a playground featuring slides and swings, it’s a great place for families with both kids and pets. Whether you’re looking for a spot to stretch your legs or a quiet stroll with your furry companion, Masterson Hills Park offers a welcoming environment.
Dog owners will appreciate that dogs are allowed in the park, making it a popular destination for pet-friendly outings. The wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lots ensure accessibility for all. Although the dog area is not specifically separated or fenced, the green spaces and paved trails provide plenty of room for leashed walks. The park’s peaceful setting, ample shade from mature trees, and well-kept pathways create a relaxing atmosphere for both people and their four-legged friends.
Nice, small playground with lots of equipment that younger children will enjoy. Also a nice walking trail between the Clubhouse and the park. Also a nicely hidden, paved basketball half-court to shoot some hoops! 🏀
Little park down the road from me which makes it very convenient for us. Not too many people come over and it is easier to keep track of the little ones.
Clean and well kept. Not too many “attractions” but enough to keep the kids entertained. It might need a little paint work though.. seems like it has been a while since last painted. New mulch recently added. Will keep coming back!
This park surprised me because the park is a small extention of Masterson Station Park. It’s small, But beautifully kept, the beginning of the entrance has a place for the kids to play and the basketball court is perfect to fit right in the park. The trees are breathtaking, old and full of spirit I guess. The sheer size could be used as a place to hide, so I warn parents to keep vigilant of their children to venture around that area of the park by themselves. I love Masterson Station, and I barely even know the place because the neighborhood is large, with surprising gems like Masterson Hills Park.
Nice and quite little park for kids to play.
This simple park is fun and connects Clark’s pump and shop to a neighborhood clubhouse. There was a pedestrian friendly crossing recently installed and the whole space is very welcoming. I live near here and enjoy biking along it
