Cute park. The equipment needs to be replaced. Certain structural welds are starting to rust and the slides are uv damaged and degrading. The climbing chains also have a protective plastic covering that has cracked in several places and pinch your fingers. Grants for new equipment exist and the city should be able to upgrade playground equipment easily.
my daughter loves playing here every day after she gets off the school bus. small park but it’s clean and has a nice vibe.
Like every Kenwick Park, a great place to find the Devils lettuce.
My young kids LOVE this park. If we’re within a block of it, they always ask to go. It is small and easy to manage younger kids there, especially since they put a fence between the playground and the road.
