Had a great time just relaxing with my mom. Definitely recommend this place
First time seeing a public workout place. They also had tennis courts, basketball courts, and a baseball field. Also a swimming pool and much more. Biggest park I have ever been at that had all that in one park.
There is literally a castle at this park. I don’t know the history of the area, but it’s a really nice spot right in the middle of the city.
Really pretty and clean. I walked around with my friend to write about the park for a class assignment. The flower garden was pretty, I just wish there were more native flowers in it and less cosmos. Cosmos tend to take over gardens. I also like that they are growing saplings!
We reserved Castlewood Barn for a birthday party. It was the perfect size for our party of about 30 people. It was fairly easy to make the reservation. It was a litttle hard to get ahold of the lady on the phone, but we finally connected and made the reservation. The thing I didn’t like about this site is the interior was hard to decorate, and they don’t let you in for viewing beforehand. Also, the area had a few homeless people loitering around the only bathrooms available. I know the park can’t control that completely, but we had families with small children and it made me uneasy to let them play on the playground. It did suit our needs and was a very reasonable price for the day. Thank you for letting us use this site for our birthday party!
