Located at 1301 S Railroad St, the Dog Park in Lewisville, Texas, is a spacious destination beloved by local dog owners. The park is known for its expansive grassy fields, providing ample room for high-energy pups to run and play off-leash. With separate areas for both small and large dogs, this dog park offers a safe environment tailored to your pet’s size and comfort, making it a top dog park in the Lewisville area. There’s plenty of shade from pergolas, a few benches for pet parents, and scenic views—plus convenient access to nearby pet-friendly trails for a leisurely walk.
Dog owners appreciate the cleanliness and well-maintained grounds, though some note that shade and seating can be limited on hot days, so early visits are recommended. Amenities such as water fountains, waste bags, seating, and restrooms ensure a comfortable visit. Close to a lake, skating area, children’s playground, and picnic spots, this dog park is a great stop whether you’re a neighborhood resident or just passing by looking for a dog-friendly outing in Lewisville.
My dog loved this park. It’s expansive so there’s plenty of room to play away from other dogs if that’s an issue. Some owners don’t pick up after their dogs so watch where you step. There’s plenty of benches and pergolas for shade as well. Highly recommend.
The biggest nicest and best dog park I’ve ever been to. We loved it and so did my 3 dogs. They could run for 5 acres!! It was so awesome.

This dog park is SUPER cliquey. They bring their small dogs into the large dogs only area and are shocked when the large dogs want to play. Never coming back but go at your own risk.

I pretty much go this park every week weather permitting. Chewy always runs the fence line and barks at the dogs. The people that bring there pets are always very nice. The grass is always cut and clean from dog poop.
Great Skate/ Dog Park but tooooo HOT no dogs were around . My pooch was hot and so was I . I assume it’s better in cooler weather. Well maintained. Will definitely try to come back if it ever gets cooler here in the Lone star state..A middle aged woman was using the ramps and doing quite well in the morning heat. There were also a large field forfeit all soccer and LaCrosse Games . I also noticed a sign for food trucks ..

It’s a huge park. It has an area for small dogs but the area for big dogs is huge. They become crazy there with so much space to run. It is very clean, people are friendly and you can find a skating area too.
