The Levelland-Oxy Sports Complex offers a welcoming green space on Equalizer Road, making it one of the go-to spots for locals seeking dog-friendly recreation in Levelland, TX. The complex features expansive open fields, abundant picnic tables, shade trees, and amenities like shaded spectator areas and playgrounds. Visitors appreciate its cleanliness, beautiful landscaping, and the availability of both paved paths and plenty of seating, making it comfortable for dog owners to supervise their pets or enjoy a walk together.
While the facility is praised for its pet-friendly atmosphere and ample space for activities, there is some inconsistency regarding official dog policies. Some reviews mention the presence of dogs and off-leash play, while others report being told no dogs are allowed. As such, visitors are encouraged to double-check current guidelines before visiting. The complex also boasts well-maintained restrooms, clean fields, and a family-friendly environment with activities for both kids and adults.

This is a nice facility. The fields are in good condition, and the spectator bleachers are covered.

The complex is beautiful, and a great place to play softball. We came from out of town to see two granddaughters play, and had a great time. Bathrooms are clean and have plenty of tp! 😃 The only reason I gave it a four is because I called ahead and was told that absolutely NO DOGS were allowed. I left my little Chihuahua with a sitter. Then when I got there, there were three dogs there all dog. None were support dogs. No one asked the owners to leave and the dogs stayed most of the day. One was a very large dog. Another was a puppy that was allowed to roam with no leash.
